Last night I started working on populating a new world save file that will be used for the upcoming session on Dec. 10th. This is really the first time I have dispatched the East End of SouthernCA since Seligman was added with any kind of heavy traffic denisty. To my pleasant surprise, Needles becomes a busy place being a crew-change location and can become bottle necked quickly if not paying attention. For the particular video below S-LPCSCO2 arrived on M1. I had Z-LPKRIC9 cross over from M1 to M2 at CP E GRIFFITH to get around Q-LPCLBA2 since there wasn't any EB traffic for a little bit. As you will see, Z-LPKRIC9 arrived into Needles on M3 and Q-LPCLBA2 arrives about a minute later on M2 just as S-LPCSCO2 begins to depart following it's crew-change. I ended up holding S-LPCSCO2 at CP W NEEDLES on M1 to allow the Q to get ahead of it. The Z departs on M3 and continued up to CP E GOFFS on M2 where it met an EB S train as it crossed over to M1.
For the majority of the night I was using all three mains at Needles as sometimes I had two WB's and an EB arriving or two EB's and a WB all arriving at Needles at the same time. Having the Seligman sub really makes dispatching the East End of SouthernCA more enjoyable with the logistics of setting up meets and Crew-Changes.
